About Dr. Salwan

Dr. Salwan is a native of the Chicago area.  He received his medical degree from M.R. Medical College in India.  His formal training includes an internship in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM) in Youngstown.  He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, IL.  He has worked at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL as a hospitalist, specializing in the care of hospitalized patients.  He also practiced hospital medicine at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL.

Dr. Salwan's medical interests include general internal medicine, cardiology, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, obesity and weight management, as well as wellness and stress management.
